چکیده

Methods 130 consecutive patients with atrial fibrillation referred for perfusion stress CMR using either adenosine or regadenoson were followed for hard cardiovascular events defined as cardiac death or non-fatal myocardial infarction (MACE). Ischemia was defined as new onset of perfusion defects in at least two myocardial segments (positive test). Multivariable Cox regressions for MACE were performed to determine the prognostic value of CMR stress perfusion.

Cardiovascular magnetic resonance stress perfusion imaging in patients with atrial fibrillation

Background Several studies have demonstrated the consistently high diagnostic and prognostic value of adenosine stress perfusion imaging with cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR). The feasibility and diagnostic accuracy of CMR stress perfusion in patients with atrial fibrillation is unknown. The purpose of this study was to assess the utility of CMR stress perfusion imaging in patients with ...

Prognostic value of cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging measurements corrected for age and sex in idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension.

BACKGROUND There are limited data on the prognostic value of cardiovascular magnetic resonance measurements in idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension, with no studies investigating the impact of correction of cardiovascular magnetic resonance indices for age and sex on prognostic value. METHODS AND RESULTS Consecutive patients with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension underwent card...

Myocardial function and perfusion assessment with exercise stress cardiovascular magnetic resonance using an MRI-compatible treadmill in patients referred for stress SPECT

Background Exercise stress cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) has recently become feasible with the development of a fully MRI-compatible treadmill system along with improvements in imaging techniques. The utility of this setup has not been systematically compared with nuclear perfusion imaging. The study objective was to evaluate the accuracy and prognostic value of exercise stress CMR with a tr...

Rapid ungated myocardial perfusion cardiovascular magnetic resonance: preliminary diagnostic accuracy

BACKGROUND Myocardial perfusion cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) is a well-established method for detection of ischemic heart disease. However, ECG gating problems can result in image degradation and non-diagnostic scans, particularly in patients with arrhythmias. METHODS A turboFLASH saturation recovery pulse sequence was used without any ECG triggering. One saturation pulse followed ...

The prognostic value of normal stress cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging.

OBJECTIVES The purpose of our study was to determine the prognostic value of normal stress cardiovascular magnetic resonance imaging (CMR) by a systematic literature review and meta-analysis. METHODS A comprehensive literature search of published studies through November 2011 in MEDLINE database and Cochrane Library, regarding prognostic value of stress CMR in patients with known or suspected...
